More than 80 older people supported by Age UK Northamptonshire visited us this week, for afternoon tea in the sun.
Split over five days, the groups came to Workbridge to enjoy hot drinks, sandwiches and cakes, served by our wonderful staff and service users.
Age UK Northamptonshire helps people make the best of life and reduce loneliness by expanding their skills, making friends and having fun. The charity runs a variety of activities which aim to inspire, support and enable individuals to be as independent as possible.

Sarah Cotton, Service Manager at Workbridge, explained: “We were privileged to welcome Age UK Northamptonshire to the coffee shop, and we’re honoured they chose Workbridge for their afternoon tea.
“The groups had the opportunity to meet up, chat and enjoy our homemade products, while finding out more about the work we do here.
“At Workbridge we work hard to offer an inclusive environment where everyone feels relaxed and welcome to visit – whether they are in a group or on their own – and we hope more groups will come and visit us soon.”
