Workbridge Coffee Shop baked their biggest challenge yet and showcased a wonderful range of celebration cakes for St Andrew’s Healthcare summer awards events!
Our coffee shop is known for its delicious cake; having been twice crowned Made in Northamptonshire award winners, but did you know that we offer celebration cakes made to order for your parties and events?
During the coronavirus lockdown, the coffee shop has been baking big with take-away afternoon tea and cakes for customers to collect from across Northants! For their most recent order this summer they have baked 34 large celebration cakes and 420 cupcakes for St Andrew’s Healthcare Communications and Events Team. The cakes were well received at events in Northampton, Birmingham and Essex; recognising individual staff members’ long service, as well as colleagues going above and beyond to support patients at the mental health hospital.
“I just wanted to pass on that Becky Smith and her team have been amazing in managing, making and coordinating the cakes for our Awards.
In the past week, they have made large cakes and gluten free cupcakes! The feedback from attendees has been fantastic; the size of the cakes has meant they are able to share them with their whole ward across all shifts and they taste amazing too.”
